Mason joined Albion in March of 2006. Now the Chief Operating Officer, Mason Woolf works across teams to provide the tools, training and processes to make each member of the team excel in their role.  Additionally, as Chief Compliance Officer Mason oversees the stringent regulatory guidelines for Albion, safeguarding the integrity of internal policies and procedures, and establishing a culture of compliance firm-wide. Mason also serves as Director of Trading, ensuring that investment strategies are consistently implemented for each client. With over 20 years of industry experience, his sharp decision making skills and calm demeanor have made him an invaluable part of Albion’s Investment Team.

Each day, Mason brings the knowledge gained through his tenure at Albion and previous work experience to bear for the benefit of all Albion clients. Mason has extensive investment management experience with such firms as Fidelity Investments, Arlington Value Management, and Morgan Stanley. Mason has also served as an Adjunct Professor of Finance in the Gore School of Business at Westminster College.

Mason is actively involved in the local venture capital world as a member of Salt Lake City Angels. Public radio is a passion of Mason’s and he has served on the board of directors for KCPW, a local, independent, non-profit radio station for a number of years. He is also an honored inductee of Utah Business Magazine’s prestigious Forty Under 40, a select group of executives and business leaders to watch (2020).
