Douglas Wells, CFA, CFP®, MBA
Vice President

Douglas Wells joined Albion in 2002. He serves on the Investment Committee and on the Client Service Team. He helps clients achieve clarity with their life goals, simplification to their financial lives and performance to their investment portfolio.

Doug received his MBA from Stanford University, and his Bachelor of Science degree from Purdue University. He has earned the designations of Chartered Financial Analyst® and CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ practitioner. The CFA® and CFP® designations are widely considered to be the top professional designation in the investment management and integrated financial advising fields respectively. Doug is a member of the CFA Institute, the Salt Lake Society of Financial Analysts, the Utah Estate Planning Council, and Utah Association of Corporate Growth.

Prior to Albion, Doug was the Founder of The Nexus Group, a private equity group focused on new venture opportunities.

He enjoys spending free time with his wife and two young daughters. He is an avid fan of outdoor activities including snowboarding and paragliding. He is a FAA certified flight instructor for single and twin-engine aircraft and holds an Airline Transport Pilot rating.
