The Albion Process
While each of our clients will come to Albion via their own path there are common themes that stand out. Typically the first exposure to Albion is a referral from a friend, family member, or trusted advisor. Often that is followed by a review of our website and then a call to Albion to schedule an appointment.
The first meeting with Albion is a chance for us to get to know each other. In this meeting you will typically meet with two Albion professionals; a Personal Financial Advisor and a firm Principal. This interview is important in two ways; it is important that our clients see their situation as a fit for Albion and for Albion to see that the client is a fit for what Albion offers. With this awareness in place the discussion becomes more specific, centering on your short, mid and long-term necessities, objectives, and aspirations. This is a critical part of the conversation; it gives us insight into what you hope to accomplish over the coming years and provides a context for the work we do for you. Of course the conversation does not begin and end with this meeting. It continues and evolves throughout the years of our relationship.
In the usual course the next meeting is a form signing session where paperwork to formalize the relationship is completed. This meeting is typically conducted by two Albion professionals; the Personal Financial Advisor and the Albion Paraplanner paired with that Personal Financial Advisor.
Internally, members of the investment team are brought into the loop and an investment policy appropriate to you is created and implemented on your behalf.
As time marches on we continue to work with you, to provide guidance and counsel, and to be a sounding board for your thoughts. In the course of time there are many topics that may need to be addressed depending on the direction of your life. This is as it should be. Successful wealth management is a process, not a product and can be accomplished through a series of good decisions over the course of your life. We are here to help with those decisions.
