Doug deeply enjoys helping Albion's clients succeed in their financial lives. Mr. Wells is a member of Albion's Investment Committee as well as a member of the firm's Wealth Advisory Team. One aspect of this work includes defining investment goals and developing and maintaining investment portfolios to achieve these goals. An equally important aspect includes helping clients overcome the less obvious but all too common obstacles to building wealth and to successfully passing it on to the people and to the causes in which they care. Albion has generated a great deal of experience and, importantly, wisdom in this area. One of Albion's guiding tenets is that wealth is a tool for clients to enrich their lives. Doug is passionate about helping clients apply this principle successfully in a manner consistent with each client's unique situation.

Doug enjoys spending free time with his wife and two young daughters who are growing up way too quickly. He is an avid fan of outdoor activities including skiing, paragliding and flying general aviation aircraft. He is an FAA certified flight instructor for single and twin-engine aircraft and is a PSIA certified level one ski instructor. Two common themes in Doug's personal and professional life are his love for teaching and his belief that decisions matter - whether choosing a suitable ski run, choosing the right weather in which to fly or choosing an appropriate investment allocation, decisions matter. Doug considers himself a student of quality decision making and truly loves helping others make the best decisions for their particular situation.
