A few years ago Albion Financial Group was approached by a potential client who specifically requested to work with a female wealth advisor. Our team includes 5 female Senior Wealth Advisors, so this was an easy request to accommodate, and it also got us thinking about the power of our female team. The number of women in the financial advising world, although growing, is still low. Only 23% of Certified Financial Planners™ are women. This reality means that most wealth management firms are dominated by men. At Albion Financial Group, 15 of our 27 employees are women! We view our female cohort as a competitive advantage. This realization sparked conversations —both internally and with our clients—prompting us to create the Women of Albion.
Who We Are
The Women of Albion is a collaborative team of women, working in all aspects of our business, with experience to help our female peers understand and manage their finances at all stages of life. The Women of Albion team is rich with life experience and can contribute valuable financial knowledge to female professionals, mothers, grandmothers, divorcees, and widows alike.
Our collective knowledge allows us to identify the most appropriate and successful strategies for our clients, helping them make a lifetime of good financial decisions as they work towards their individual goals.
What We Give
Many of our female clients have, unfortunately, reported feeling intimidated and ignored by their previous financial advisors. As women ourselves, we understand the frustration of not feeling heard. At Albion Financial Group, we take the time to build meaningful relationships with our clients and seek a full understanding of their overall financial picture. As fiduciaries, we always put our clients’ interest first, ahead of everything else.
The Senior Wealth Advisors at Albion Financial Group consistently encourage both spouses or partners to be seated at the table. Many women will be independently responsible for finances and investments at some point during their lives, either with or without a partner, and at these times the Women of Albion are an invaluable resource.
The benefits of our work reach beyond financial planning advice and investment management services. Our events and workshops are always enjoyable networking opportunities among current and prospective clients, as well as female attorneys and accountants. Our events and workshops provide guidance on sound financial decision making for day-to-day living as well as planning for the future. Through the Women of Albion network, we are successfully building, educating, and empowering our community.
If you would like to learn more about working with the Women of Albion or are interested in attending an event or workshop, please reach out to me at 801-487-3700 or firstname.lastname@example.org. I would love to hear from you.
